The idea behind this week’s prompt is using poetry as your journaling. I selected the haiku because I thought it would be the easiest for participants to play with.
Basically, haiku is a traditional Japanese form of poetry. It is a 17-syllable verse form consisting of three metrical units of 5, 7, and 5 syllables.
Here is an example:
An old pond!
A frog jumps in-
The sound of water.
Have fun this week playing around with poetry and especially haiku.

Kikipotamus the Hobo - Very nice! I read somewhere that each haiku is supposed to let you know indirectly which season it is. This one reminds me of spring.
Laura S. - What a great challenge!
