Just Chill

Some people need to seriously take a freakin’ chill pill. It is proven that stress and worry accomplish nothing, right? So why do we do it? I think I have figured out that some select people can not survive unless there is a crisis. Because of that, they bring everyone around them down by making up stuff to stress about. I don’t let them bring me down. I choose not to fall for this kind of co-dependent bullcrap, because that is what it is, bullcrap.

I am creative, damn it and I have no place in my life for people like that. You know the saying, change the people around you or change the people around you. As much as I believe that, I am also going to pray for the person this post is directed at. They need it in more ways than you can imagine.

I blame all of this on the 8 hour work day. Companies should make it mandatory people take their freakin’ lunch away from their desk. It is scary to see people unable to disconnect from the computer. It is like watching an addict. You pull them away for five minutes and they start going through withdrawal.What the hell is that all about? I blame that on not having other interests outside of work. You can’t be a work-a-holic. You can not be productive if you don’t take breaks. You can’t get anything done if you don’t know where you are going. You can’t expect the people around you to be productive and happy if you are not. Lead by example instead of saying you do when you really don’t.
