From this day forward, this blog will strictly be about crafting and paper crap. Seems you can’t have an opinion without people accusing you of being unpatriotic. That is bullcrap and I won’t stand for it.
nancyroo-hmmm…well, hugs to you. I think if people do not like your opinion, they do not need to read your blog. Anyway, does this mean more art journal challenges? Because i really enjoyed the.

Amanda-Hey LB, Just had to say – speaking against our government is nowhere near unpatriotic. It’s your blog, say what you want. That’s one of the great things about this country, that you can disagree with its leadership.
*hugs*

Amanda-Aw man, I am so sorry. I just posted a political themed blog on my 90% scrappin’ blog… I have no comments… I wonder if people are scared to tell me to shut up! LOL
I HATE GEORGE BUSH!!!!
I don’t RESPECT HIM AS A MAN, LET ALONE AS OUR PRESIDENT.
I think he is the DUMBEST President we’ve had in 3 centuries….
Now attack me, people.
Just call me Benedict Arnold…
so there you have it!!

Michelle -America is about freedom of speech. Being called unpatriotic because you may not like or care for a politician even the president is b.s.!!!
Don’t sweat the negativity of others. Just keeping writing on your blog on what you wish to speak about. If someone doesn’t like it, well they can create their own blog.

kristine-I saw your original post. I thought the reaction was pretty harsh in response to your post. I read it all and thought – ok, this is why I don’t talk about politics often. This is not to say that you shouldn’t. It’s your blog! Talk about what you want! I must say however, I think it is sad that a person cannot simply have an opposing view and yet still continue to dialogue. (I saw that this person remarked that they were unsubscribing to your blog.) I speak to people whose political views I don’t agree with EVERY DAY. That does not make me write them off as people simply because I don’t agree with their views. Isn’t that part of what democracy is about – presenting more than one perspective?

Lisa -I personally think you should be able to write what you want. Don’t let someone else make you feel “less than”. It’s your blog.
