You ever feel like you need to scream your freakin’ head off? Especially when you are trying to be cool, collected and focused?
Had one of those moments early yesterday morning where I thought I was going to come unglued. The devil is at work in an environment I spend a lot of time in and it just about made me crazy yesterday. BUT, the Lord sent me a message thought a lovely woman I befriended last year. He always does that. Sends you people and a message when you need it the most. Immediately, I felt a calm come over me and I told the devil he had no power in my life. None at all.
What has been your message today? Mine is still let go and let God. It works, so no point in fixin’ what ain’t broke! Everything is going to be just fine. Stepping out on faith and trusting is not easy to do, but what would be the point of it if it were easy. There would be no appreciation for our rewards if we did not trust and have faith. That I know for sure.

Michelle - My message that I got is that sometimes the best thing to do if you really love someone truly is to set them free. Something I had to do yesterday and very painful. In the end it is for the best.

Tertia Jacobs - Funny that just after I read your blog early this morning before work I was driving and heard the following on the radio:
An old man was trying to explain to his grandson how to deal with hardships in his life and asked him whether he was a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean, Very perplexed the grandson wanted to know why his grandfather asked such a silly question, The grandfather fetched each of these items and proceded to show his grandson what happened when you boiled all of these things in water.
The carrot starts out hard and ends up soft. The egg starts out soft and very fragile and ends up hard and unbreakable. The coffee however, changed the water for the better.
He then went on to explain to his grandson that people are like those three things. We have a choice however, we can become soft, hard and uncaring or we can choose to change the situation we are in for the better like the coffee bean.
So hang in there and make coffee! With God’s help we can handle anything.
And then, just to make me believe that the message was for me, when I arrived at work, the thought for the day on our message board said: “People can only walk over you when you lie down!!!”
