Settling in to Peace

The second stem of my orchid has bloomed. I am beyond excited about this plant. My kids have been watching the pregnant buds growing fatter each day and one bloom at a time would be open and waiting for us in the morning. I am not used to blooms staying this long on a flower. Who else grows orchids? How do I keep it blooming?

This week has been interesting for me. I have noticed a calm settling over me. It is peace.I have been practicing being still and allowing what comes my way to teach me something new. When you let go of trying to get people to see things your way, you can not help but be at peace. You can not make another person feel, do or think anything. We all have free will. What you can control is your thinking and how much peace you want to have in your life by elevating your attitude. Anyone can attain peace in their life. You just have to let go, let God and believe.

Tonia Davenport - Hoping bits of peace continue to sneak into your daily moments. Letting go really is key, isn’t it?

Lucrecer - Yes, letting go is key for me right now. I am doing what I can do and letting God do what I can not.
