Creating the Vision and Bringing it to Life

Vision boards. Who would have thought they could be such a powerful influence in generating the kind of things you want to come into your life? I have been participating in Karen’s Path Finder’s  course and loving every minute of it. I have created vision boards before and they usually reside in my journals. This is the first one I created and put on my wall where I can see it everyday. Karen has done an amazing job of putting together a great class that truly acts as a guide. She is an outstanding writer and her personality comes through completely. It is a wonderful experience.

In the middle of my board is the word, Abundance. It is my word for 2011-2012. I usually pick a word at the beginning of each year, but I have decided to start selecting my word in the late summer months from now on. It took longer than expected to create this board. Reason being I wanted it to be a true representation of the abundance I want to see more of in my life. While I desire to have a wealth of abundance show up financially, I also desire it on many personal levels. This is one of the first vision boards I prayed over and took my time creating. As a result, it feels completely right for me.

Have you created a vision board? I would love to hear how you use it and why. Have a great day!

Chrysta Bairre - I love your vision board, and I love the idea of centering it around one idea you want to nurture in your life!

I made my first vision board 2 years ago for a career seminar. My second board I created on a canvas and hung in my office. As 2012 approaches I am ready to make a new board and I’m excited to incorporate the idea of creating it around a word.

For me, a vision board is a way to align my attitudes and actions with my goals and values. When I am doubtful or having a difficult day I often look at my vision board and remind myself what I what to attract in my life.

By the way I found your blog from the #Blissdom tag on Twitter. I just bought my tickets and I’m really looking forward to it!

Have a grateful day!

Chrysta
